My Morning Jacket are perfect for a day at the Hop Farm. Alt country. Also Rufus Wainwright would be good news if those rumours are correct??

But (same as most people) for me it's Neil Young that counts. Saw him at Hammersmith and he was amazing. The acoustic set was amazing - but the electric set blew me away.

It's my 50th (aghh) birthday at the end of June and this is my wife's birthday present to me - she's coming along to find out what it's all about. It's not really her cup of tea so that's lovely of her. Let's hope the sun shines on us all!

May the sun shine on us all! Anyone have any idea or incling on WHO Neil will be playing with? Current tour was the line up from Chrome Dreams II (f'n great album!). Would love to see neil with Crazy Horse again, apparently a 'new' album could be out with him & them - or possibly just them, called Toast?

Neil+ Crazy Horse in 96 was Awesome. Neil in March just gone was Super-duper too - I guess everyone's a winner!

One slot to fill then... this is like my Glastonbury wishlists all over again, just more compressed!

I say anyone from Joanna Newsom, The Indelicates, Noel Gallagher (acoustic), PJ Harvey, Fire Engines, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds or the Brian Jonestown Massacre, would be brilliant.

i think the band of horses could be a shout for hop farm, they play the werchter and roskilde fests ,and with neil playing both festivals and band of horses playing in london on the 8th gives them a 3 day gap to fill ,i think they would slot in there just fine ,just a thought but would be a great addition

Teddy Thompson would be an excellent addition especially if he brought his Dad Very Happy which he did do at one gig I saw.

There was an ad for the festival in the Metro last week with Everest and Laura Marling listed as the last two acts on the bill.

Thanks Alexi.

I'd never heard of them before viewing them on YouTube as a result of your post. My Morning Jacket will certainly do!

Great News!

Carbon/Silicon confirmed, now we will have a day to remember!

I was getting a little concerned about some of the other acts, My Morning Jacket - Rufus Wainwright - Guillemots - Everest - Laura Marling. But now I'm just looking forward to it!

Great news! All in all, that is a diverse, interesting, maybe challenging (for some) line up! Hopefully Primal Scream bring their 'A' game, to confound the doubters on this forum!

Carbon/Silicon! Brilliant signing. What a ****in' line-up. This is gonna be one hell of a do. I'd sleep out in the rain for it, if I didn't live close. Pity about the people staying overnight. Please Vince Power get your transport act together like you did your line-up. We know you can do it.

Must admit I had never even heard of My Morning Jacket until I bought these tickets but a little bit of research confirms they seem to be absolutely awesome live. Massive in US so it appears, and have a new album out in a couple of weeks.

If you like big big guitar music then these bad boys are not to be missed.

They also do a brilliant cover of "A Quick One" by The Who - wouldn't mind seeing that!

Definitely looking forward to this one.

Carbon Silicon are great too for anyone who hasn't heard any of their stuff.

Another recommendation for MMJ. I had not heard of them before I bought my ticket for Hop Farm so decided to check them out...now I'm completely in love with them! I have already bought two of their cds and a dvd and have booked tickets for their gigs in London and Nottingham. I'm looking forward to seeing them almost as much as Neil!
