Hi All
We are travelling up from Cornwall and hoping to camp somewhere close to hop farm before and after the festival, does anyone know of any local campsites (walking distance would be good).

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

This is the closest one I could find. It is still about 8 miles away!

I think the closest is Stately Park in Nettlestead, which is a 2.6 miles up the road according to Google maps.

See map

I don't know it and can't find much info online I'm afraid...

hello,

yeah, tried the same thing, bought tickets on the day of release, then tried to find out about camping - nearest is about 8 miles away

there is a Premier Inn b&b type place in Tonbridge, you can reserve rooms online. it doesnt work out bad, you can book a family room for £60 for 4

its £60 a night set charge. whether you have a single, double or family room - bizarre practice.....

If you've ever been to Tonbridge you'll know why the Premier Inn is desperate for business.

Come on! Tonbridge has got so much going for it. West Kent College, Poundstretcher. Need I say more? lol!

Hi

Thanks for the help finding a campsite, the phone wasn't working for Stately park but got booked into Gate House Wood Touring Park. If anyone else is staying there maybe we can meet up and share some transport to Hop Farm.

Thanks again
Gaz

The Coach House B&B is just down the road in Laddingford, it's about 30 minutes walk from the Hop Farm....

By chance, we're holding a small, private party/festival on the Saturday, about 10 miles away from the Hop Farm (so going to this was a no-brainer...).

We've got 5 bands, food, bar and some basic facilities - plus camping Fri, Sat & Sun!!

If anyone's interested and wants more info, PM me please.

Cheers

hahaha 30,000 campers there you must be joking!!! i bet you any money you like it will be the same as all his large festival appearances, 30,000 old hippies all singing along and clapping their hands out of time with the music when he isn't singing, a total waste of £50 and fuel to get there i definitely will not be there. i saw him at the Apollo and thank god he told the old hippies to shut the fk up as it was being recorded. was a nice intimate gig for a change. i can't think of anything worse than paying that sort of cash to see Neil young only to not hear him because you always end up surrounded by idiots who think you paid and travelled to listen to them clapping and singing! It's bound to be a terrible experience, and he hasn't even changed the set list that much throughout the whole tour which in my opinion is just lazy. keep on rocking in the free world...BORING!!!!!! My advice is avoid at all cost and save your money!!!!!
