smooth running
Myself and a friend arrived just as My Morning Jacket were finishing - sounded great.
From then on we didn't have to wait, queue, or experience any discomfort all evening
Buying drinks - 3mins, Buying food - straight away, queue for toilets - didn't. Smelly toilets - No
Good Views - got them.
Annoying people in the audience - none
I think we must have been lucky too with getting of site in the car in 10mins - no q's on the way out.
Would have liked to have kept ticket though.
The guy said they'd be handing them out at the end as souvniers. no sign of that.
Lady on help line said they would have been burnt under the data prtoect act!
Great festival
Though Supergrass were excellent, solid set, like the look.
But ofcourse, it was Neil Young I went to see,
pure, simple, genius.

Re: smooth running
He tends to get right to the heart of the matter eh? and its always golden.
Saw him in Birimingham in 86 with Crazy Horse - a cherished memory.
He's one of the few people that have got better and better as the years go by.
And he was fkin' excellent to start with!
So much energy - still!

Re: smooth running
I am a fan, (ie six or seven albums and have read 'Shakey'!!) but not the worlds greatest fan, so did not have massive expectations. The man was 'awesome' from start to finish though. Worth every bit of the £50 entry fee alone!
